Important Dates

Amber Township sends tax statements out to its residents twice each year; July 1 and December 1. 

Tax statements are due; September 14 and February 14. Please refer to your tax bill for further information.

If you pay your taxes BY the due date:

  • Paying the amount you owe in full, you will not have to pay interest or penalties (extra fees).
  • Remember that the postmark date (if you mail in your taxes) DOES NOT count as your payment date. To avoid having to pay interest and penalties, we must receive your payment by the due date.

If you pay your taxes AFTER the due date:

You may have to pay added interest and/or penalties. Contact the Amber Township Treasurer to find out how much you owe.

How to Pay Your Taxes

If your check DOES NOT CLEAR the bank, any receipt you received for your tax payment will become void.

    Please send your payment (and a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you want a receipt) to:

  • In Person
    Visit on designated TAX days (9-5 on September 14, one business day between December 25 & 31st, and the last day in February; that is not a Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday.) A drop box for taxes is located at the hall next to the south office entrance.
